Original Title I pugni di Rocco
Description Rocco Colantini, a young farmer, gets out of prison (he ended up stabbing a man) after three years and is repudiated by his father, the enemy of violence. He finds work at the land of Don Andrea Pappalardo, who boasts a credit of 5 million to two local mafias, the Marzacchi brothers. Rocco to collect the credit reduces to the end of his life one of the two brothers. In response, the second of the Marzacchi kills Don Andrea. At this point Rocco becomes the owner of the possessions of Don Andrea and lover of his widow. He will then fight to get the other peasants to rebel against the injustices of the Marzacchi and their leader, the American. His father will also find himself in this battle. After escaping an ambush he manages to kill first Giuseppe Marzacchi and then the American, in his home. At this point the police break in and Antonio becomes a victim in the firefight.
