The behind-the-scenes realities of modern sport, as shown by the example of a young provincial boxer, bearing the high moral costs achieved by a huge effort of sporting success. A 20-year-old boy from a provincial town, Jerzy Olejniczak, sets up a sports club with an old fist - called Pałka. Chance makes him win the ring. He starts training, he walks from success to success. However, it becomes the object of the machinations of rogue sports activists Does not give up, fights alone and eventually wins a valuable victory.
