Two training bases of different sports societies are located in the forests of picturesque Karelia. They are headed by former athletes who in the past performed together in figure skating, but in the accident fatally quarreled. For many years now, there has been a feud between the camps, and pupils are prohibited from communicating with their neighbors under fear of expulsion.15-year-old Lekha, a promising cyclist from St. Petersburg, together with his team - three cronies - comes to one of these camps and immediately falls in love with Viola, a girl from the neighboring camp, where she came engaged in synchronized swimming. They are separated by a high fence and belonging to the warring camps. All Lekha's thoughts are occupied by Viola. His sports career flies to tartars. Both camps are immersed in romantic confusion.
