Description

Based on the real events of the early XX century, the story of Varlam's guy from the lower social strata, who had to leave his native land and start living in Moscow in order to be with his beloved. The guy who proved himself in battle wall to wall is noticed by an Englishman, the owner of a football club, who offers him to try his hand at the team. However, the team does not accept an unhewn burlak from the Volga. Then having gathered strength, Varlam, together with a real patriot and football merchant Balashov, creates the first national team and becomes a leader, changing his life and those of others.
