At twelve Carlitos wants two things more than anything else: a family and to play football. But he is an orphan and Don Hipólito, the head of the orphanage where he lives, hates sport. The only good thing about the orphanage is that Carlitosshareshissorrows but also happy times of fun, joy and pranks with his friends Trampas, Seta and La Flaca. There is also Anita, a lovely, sweet girl and through her Carlitos discovers the feminine sex and an incipient first love. Carlitos’s luck changes whenthe National Football Federation organizes a competition to form the Team which will play in the European Junior Championship. Carlitos, with the help of his group of friends, manages to go to the trials and thanks to his talent he is even called to playinthe team.However, what at first fills him with great joy soon turns into an obstacle race.
