Boxing manager Charlie Ågren, former Swedish flyweight champion, is on his way home via a charter boat after a few years in the USA. He wants to get a good Swedish heavyweight boxer and is looking for his own old sports club Djurgården, where, among others, Olle Tandberg goes on a training session. During a training round with his followers, Charlie witnesses how an older, famous animal painter, Professor Kronfors, is attacked by some young thugs. Björn Harring, a very well-boxed theology student, scares the bullies on the run. Kronfors' daughter Inga, Charlie and Björn are united through an intermezzo in friendship. Björn will soon take up a position as auxiliary priest in Delsnäs in Norrland. The sale of Kronfors 'paintings is handled by art dealer Hjelm, who is a very unscrupulous gentleman and also trades in pure forgeries of Kronfors' paintings. In Delsnäs, Björn discusses youth problems with the parish's old priest. To remedy the spirit of the spirit and dance arena, Björn wants to start a youth and sports association. An organized meeting on the issue is sparsely attended. On the dance floor, the dancers are terrorized by Skräcken and his peers, who are always alert to fights. During a break, Björn takes possession of the stage to advertise his association idea. The fear confidently moves around and provokes Björn. When Björn still remains, Skräcken becomes furious and attacks. Björn kills him with some well-aimed blows and gets the delighted young people on his side. The next association meeting is full and Björn proposes that a youth center be set up, where the young people can pursue meaningful leisure time. The stingy and cautious municipal meeting does not support the proposal and it is stranded by a lack of capital. In Stockholm, Charlie has a contract with an Italian boxer for a big match, but he suffers an acute shortage of a worthy Swedish opponent. Björn agrees to line up in the match, if he can be anonymous. He intends to use the money he can earn for the youth center. Hjelm's art hut with Kronfors' paintings is revealed and Charlie gives Hjelm a regular upper-cut. The press hears about Björn's identity and his name appears in the newspapers the same evening as the match is to take place. Charlie tries to persuade Björn to give up the match so as not to risk ruining his future as a priest. Björn wants to keep his promise and take the consequences himself. The match will be a great victory for Björn. His conduct gives the bishop reason to visit his breeding farm. He approves of Björn's course of action. Björn is becoming so popular that several other people are also investing money in the youth center. Thus, this youth's house for useful work and healthy leisure life is realized.
