Hockey requires a great deal of effort, even sacrifice, from an early age. Thirteen-year-old players of the student hockey team, led by an experienced and receptive coach, face various problems of their age, first loves and reduced self-confidence, disciplinary difficulties, but in the end they all engulf the sense of responsibility. The film touches on the flip side of challenging sports, but often acts as a child and simplifies the complex motivations of teenage boys.
