Description

In the sports drama directed by Edvin Laine, Veteran's Victory (1955) Timo's son (Pertti-Kalevi) learns about the background of his grandfather Santeri Kivilaakso (Vilho Siivola) in the labor sports movement. Enthusiastic about this, he begins to encourage his alcoholic father, worker Antti Ahdetta (Tapio Rautavaara), to practice his own sport, javelin throwing.
