The film tells the story of a failed journalist who tries to become a war correspondent. Ali is a correspondent for a newspaper. But his clumsiness creates difficulties for the editor-in-chief and the newspaper employees. One day, he is assigned to investigate a case of match fixing. However, he cannot get any results from his research and gets fired from the paper. His girlfriend, Ayşe, convinces him to become a war correspondent for the newspaper she works at. So, he is assigned to conduct research in the border villages due to the critical situation in the country. But, this task will be more excitement than he bargained for.
