PhD and Post-Doctoral Research Opportunities

We welcome PhD and Post-Doctoral Research proposals informed or engaged with the Sport in European Cinema database, or the broader topic of European Sport Cinema. All proposals should address the following areas:

1. Research topic/project abstract/summary

2. Research topic/project description

• Objectives (100 words max.)
• Justification e.g. potential to address gaps in existing knowledge of sport in European cinema, etc. (400 words max.)
• Methodology: How you propose to go about your project (this can include practice-based approaches).
• Expected research outcomes e.g., ‘deliverables’ in terms of contributions to knowledge and outputs (400 words max.)
• Works Cited : What work has influenced your proposal? This can include books, articles, films or creative works.
